Jordan Hirsch died in a car accident in 2010 after falling asleep at the wheel, crashing into some trees and landing in a ditch. His father, Kersten, and stepmother, Jasmine, have set up a scholarship fund through Binghamton University -- where 19-year-old Hirsch was a student -- to teach others about the dangers of drowsy driving.
In the video above, watch Kersten open up about losing his son and why he wants parents to "make sure that you talk to your children about fatigued driving."
