Drunk Woman Called 911 Pretending to be Olivia Pope: Cops

The woman faces charges for public intoxication and misuse of the 911 system.

A lot of people love the show "Scandal", but this fan might be obsessed.

A 20-year-old Iowa woman called 911 pretending to be "Scandal" character Olivia Pope, according to the Smoking Gun.

Authorities say she drunkenly claimed to have sighted Cyrus Beene, another character on "Scandal," and told police that there was a car bomb on its way to the White House.

The woman proceeded to babble about "Scandal" related plot lines to the responding officer, according to police documents obtained by the Huffington Post.

The charges state that "'Olivia Pope' is a television show character and everything the defendant stated was nonsensical and rambling."

The documents also state that she had "impaired speech and balance" and "smelled of alcohol" and admitted to drinking and possessing a fake ID.

The woman was arrested and charged with public intoxication and faces a charge for misusing the 911 system. She allegedly registered a blood-alcohol level of .206 (twice the legal limit) on a Breathalyzer test.

Next time, maybe just stay in with a glass of red wine if you're trying to channel the great Olivia Pope herself.
