Drunk Naked Man Streaks At Women's March, Pays The Price

"It hard to accept, even in your drunken state, you were not aware of it at all," judge says.

A drunken man who streaked naked through a women's anti-violence march was ordered to pay nearly $500 (325 pounds) in fines and court costs, and perform 80 hours of volunteer work Friday, the BBC reported.

"You said you were not aware of the demonstration but, given the number of people there, it is hard to accept, even in your drunken state, you were not aware of it at all," Judge Richard Marshall told Peter Barker, per the Nottingham Post.

Barker, 45, led police on a chase Oct. 24 when he stripped naked down to only his boots and ran through a "Reclaim the Night" demonstration in Nottingham, England, attended by approximately 100 women, and children as young as 8, according to the BBC.

Chloe Cheeseman of the anti-domestic violence charity Equation told the broadcaster that Barker interrupted a speech in a "grossly offensive way" but welcomed his apology.

In a previous hearing, Barker confessed to "being a public nuisance by exposing his genitals," outlets noted.

He reportedly consumed about nine pints before the incident.
