English Gent Gets Everyone On Train To Join In Drunken, Jolly Sing-A-Long

On one quiet Southeastern carriage on one quiet train from London Victoria to Ashford International in Kent, on one quiet Friday night, some quiet passengers got a very loud, jolly surprise.

One man, thought to be in his 60's, leapt up to lead the silent car full of people in song. The cheery fellow not only got everyone to participate in the repeat-after-me, but he had them all smiling and clapping, too.

The moment was captured by rider George Haswell from Maidstone, and is proof we can all have a merry time no matter where we are -- so long as there are happy white-haired gents around to throw on a conductor's hat and make us sing.
