Duchess Of Cambridge Adds New Name, Malene Birger, To The Designer Mix In Yellowknife, Northwest Territories (PHOTOS)

The Duchess of Cambridge spent Tuesday in Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories, where she continued her Canadian tour with a new round of outfits.

For a meet-and-greet with residents and a visit to the Somba K'e Civic Plaza, the former-Kate Middleton introduced a new name to the mix -- Malene Birger. Birger's bio from Net-A-Porter.com:

Award-winning Danish designer Malene Birger, formerly of Day Birger et Mikkelsen, started her namesake line in 2003. Taking inspiration from the classic styles of the '50s and '60s, and demonstrating an inspired use of color, her beautiful silk dresses, sequined vests and draped white shirts are elegant, feminine and easy-to-wear.

Catherine picked Birger's "Bullet Dress," her LK Bennett Sledge2 pumps, a clutch and Kiki McDonough Citrine Drop earrings.

In the afternoon, the Duchess went casual to travel by seaplane to Blachford Lake, changing into an olive green button-down, navy J Brand “811” pants, leather belt and her Sebago Bela shoes.

She and Prince William also collected some local fashions during the festivities -- a pair of hockey jerseys, Harry Winston diamond cufflinks and a brooch in the shape of a polar bear and Canadian Rangers hoodies.
