Mansplaining: it goes well with any conversation -- especially one about sports.
Ah yes, another man tried to explain sports to an unsuspecting woman all because she is, well, a lady. And ladies don't know anything about sports because... vaginas!
This past Tuesday, Twitter user Megan Brown, a passionate sports fan and social media guru, tweeted a screenshot of a text message conversation between her and a guy. One look at Brown's Twitter feed and it's obvious she's a huge baseball fan (her Twitter handle is @ThatGirlOnDeck).
In the text conversation, the guy wrote to Brown: "You say you like baseball. I've never met a girl who likes baseball... Name the NL East teams in the next 10 seconds no googling. Ready go."
Brown responded accordingly:
"It's so insulting when dudes try to quiz me about sports soooo I had a little pun fun," Brown wrote underneath the screen shot. The tweet had received over 9,000 retweets and 20,000 favorites as of Friday morning.
Female sports fans everywhere thank you, Megan.
