California Congressman Duncan Hunter Re-Elected

Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter won Tuesday's election to represent California's 50th Congressional District, besting Democratic challenger James Kimber.

Hunter, first elected to the House in 2008, previously served in the Marine Corps. Kimber, a doctor, received approximately 25 percent of the vote in June's open primary, lagging far behnd Hunter, who picked up 70 percent.
