Dazzling Lumiere Festival Lights Up The City Of Durham

Illuminated And It's Dazzling

Paris will always be our City of Lights, but we just couldn’t help ourselves with these eye-catching photos of the Lumiere Festival in Durham last week.

Drawing a total of 175,000 people this year, the British city was lit up in 27 different locations.

The most impressive sights were the replica of the sun suspended over the evening sky and a moving 3D elephant beamed on to the Elvet Bridge.

Scroll down to see Durham at its brightest. And for those who missed it, you can head on over to see Londonderry transformed into a city of lights.
