We've been following the work of BriTANick, the sketch/video duo of Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher ever since we saw several of their super short videos at SketchFest NYC a few years ago. Graduates of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Brian and Nick are the rare comedic duo whose perfect timing and inexhaustible likability are surpassed only by their incredibly proficient filmmaking. Most of their shorts last just long enough to get to the meat of the gag and then they're out, leaving you wanting a lot more.
Fortunately, this short film is that lot more. The product of director McElhaney's final thesis for graduation, BriTANick's magnum opus 'Eagles Are Turning People Into Horses' has been on the festival circuit for the last year or two, most notably as an official selection of the Slamdance Film Festival. And now, finally, it's available for the whole world's viewing pleasure.
We don't want to spoil any of the surprises, but we'll summarize it this way: men are evil, women are eviler, and eagles are just the worst.
