During a normal NBA season, a Lakers home win over the Hornets in early November would not be a big deal. But so far, this season has been anything but normal for the Lakers, who were 0-5 heading into last night's game against Charlotte. So after they beat the Hornets 107-92 last night to earn their first victory of the season, Los Angeles forward Ed Davis was understandably happy.

Davis was so happy that he took to Twitter to troll Charles Barkley, who went on Inside the NBA on Thursday night and said that he wouldn't eat another meal until the Lakers won a game. Davis sent out a tweet and told the Round Mound of Rebound that he could finally go and get his eat on thanks to the Lakers. And he did it in a way that, well, just look:

Ha! Who says NBA players and professional athletes as a whole don't pay attention to the press? Clearly, someone told the Lakers about what Barkley had to say, and it doesn't sound like they were too thrilled with it. It's just too bad that we're going to have to wait a few days to hear Chuck's response to Davis.
