Eddie Cibrian In 'Playboy': Actor Cast As Lead

Eddie Cibrian To Be In 'Playboy'

Eddie Cibrian is a committed man, but he's about to take a very risque leading role.

Cibrian, the former "Third Watch" star, has won the lead role in the upcoming NBC drama pilot, "Playboy," Deadline reports. Set in 1963, the show centers on the Chicago Playboy club, one of a number of swank and exclusive dining and social clubs set throughout the country at that time.

Deadline says that Cibrian will play attorney Nick Dalton, a charming yet mysterious man with connections that veer on the illegal.

Cibrian spent two years on "CSI: Miami," totaling 25 episodes. He also had a two episode stint on the show "The Chase."

Of course, his name has also been in the news in the last few years due to his personal life; he cheated on and left his wife, Brandi Glanville. He is now engaged to LeAnn Rimes, the singer with whom he had the affair.

Us Weekly recently reported that Rimes and Cibrian are planning a reality show about their upcoming marriage.
