Edible Mist Machine Lets You Inhale Bacon Without The Calories

Suck it, Jenny Craig.

Now you can inhale all of your guilty pleasures without that good ol' American caloric intake. Lick Me I'm Delicious, a group of foodie inventors out of the United Kingdom, says its Edible Mist Machine can emit 200 different "delicious" flavored vapors for your enjoyment. We say enjoyment, but we're worried about the lobster, bacon and popcorn varieties.

Company founder Charlie Harry certainly intrigued us with the weird, UFO-shaped contraptions, but he didn't make them seem any more palatable in his press release:

"The range of flavors is massive and we can also produce you a personalized mist from pretty much anything in the world, like your favorite book or even your hair," he said. "AND it’s zero calories."

The Edible Mist Machine's "ultrasonic vaporization" makes a mist that basically gives you a hit of flavor without actually ingesting any food. It's kind of like a vaporizer pen or the alcohol vaporizer we wrote about last year, only bigger and more expensive. The advertisement video above shows a man with a weird hat using a straw to suck "mist" from the machine.

Will it break your constant cravings for apple pie, strawberries and cream or cotton candy? We may never know.

Company reps in the U.K. told us they can't ship one of their gigantic gizmos to test out in New York, so we can't confirm whether the taste and/or smell would make us vomit uncontrollably. You can rent them out for parties in the U.K., or get one yourself for the meager sum of about $8,400 plus shipping, so please let us know if you've tried it.
