Edible Murder Scene From Miss Cakehead For 'The Helpers' DVD Is Too Grisly For Us (PHOTOS) (NSFW)

NSFW PHOTOS: Grisly Murder Scene Made Of Cake And Candy

Emma Thomas, aka Miss Cakehead, shows us a lot of weird things. Anatomically correct macarons. Severed toe and ear cookies. Baby heads made of white chocolate. Creepy just about sums up nearly every edible creation she's sent our way, but a recent project to celebrate the release of the horror film "The Helpers" on DVD is the first that actually made our stomach do a little flip. It's that disturbing.

The grotesque cakes and candies, inspired by the film, go on display at a pop-up event on January 18 at Original Content London in London, U.K. The space is outfitted to look like a motel occupied by a sadistic killer who tortures and mutilates a helpless victim. We can easily say this is the first time we've seen an electric battery and Trojan condoms rendered in cake form -- but we're not sure we like it.

Thomas, who helped coordinate the event, rounded up a talented group of bakeshops and artists to help out, including Nevie Pie Cakes, Conjurer’s Kitchen, Sarah Hardy, Chris Verrares, Miss Insomnia Tulip and high concept art cocktail maker James Dance.

In a press release release, Thomas admitted that the project may not be for everyone:

Without question this is one of the most horrific edible projects ever created and it’s going to be truly fascinating to see if people can stomach eating the delicious cakes and treats.
