'Elementary' Gets Full Season Along With 'Vegas'

'Elementary,' 'Vegas' Get Full Seasons

"Elementary" and "Vegas" will stick around CBS for full seasons. The network ordered the coveted back nine episodes for each drama.

“'Vegas' and 'Elementary' have opened strong, delivering big audiences and winning performances in important time periods,” Nina Tassler, president of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement. "Each of the shows has rich characters, big stars and a unique visual style that have stood out in the crowd, helping make two of our strongest nights even stronger."

According to CBS, "Vegas" has been averaging close to 15 million viewers and a 2.7 in the 18-49 demographic. "Elementary" is pulling in about 14.3 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in 18-49 demo. "Vegas" stars Dennis Quaid, Michael Chiklis and Carrie-Anne Moss, while Lucy Liu, Jonny Lee Miller and Aidan Quinn star in "Elementary."

"Elementary" and "Vegas" weren't the only new dramas on CBS. The network has already shelved newbie "Made In Jersey" after airing only a couple of episodes.

"Elementary" airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS and "Vegas" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
