Elisabeth Hasselbeck Pushes Obama's Ayers Connection, Bets Her Highlights That Obama Is Shadier Than McCain

Elisabeth Hasselbeck continued pushing Barack Obama's connections to William Ayers and Jeremiah Wright Thursday morning on "The View," and she went so far as to bet her hair that Barack Obama is associated with more shady people than John McCain.

When Joy Behar argued that Todd Palin's connections to a decidedly unpatriotic Alaskan secessionist movement, Elisabeth attempted to suggest that Obama's ties to Ayers are equally as strong as Sarah Palin's ties to her husband Todd, logic that stalled and eventually led her to make this bold declaration:

I will bet my blond highlights over the fact that if you line up both of these men's records, and their associations, and you wanna line up everything, you would never, on paper, look at Barack Obama's records, ties, associations, and people that he has chosen time and time again to work with, and choose him to sit in the White House as our President.

Sherri Shepherd then cut in, calling the conversation "draining" and explaining that connections are so "incestuous" that John McCain is actually tied to associates of Ayers as well.
