Elizabeth Warren didn’t pull any punches. She said the Trump Administration is focused on giving "a knockout blow" to working class Americans.

She read from her book This Fight is Our Fight: The Battle to Save America's Middle Class she said: "What Donald Trump and the Republican majority in the House and the Senate want to do to us, is they want to deliver the knockout blow to the middle class."

“Women’s Rights are not up for grabs” said Warren. "The character of this nation is being tested."

Warren left a significant portion of her time on stage to answer audience questions, and was able to engage in a wide range of topics while keeping her focus on the Middle Class, where she has her roots. "The character of a nation is not the character of its president" said Warren in a theme that hit home with the New York audience. "The character of a nation is the character of its people."
