Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) are running even in a poll released Monday.
The poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center for the Boston Globe, has both candidates at 47 percent, erasing the slim lead that Warren has held in most October polling. The last Globe poll, taken in late September, showed Warren up 5 points.
Both Warren and Brown's favorability numbers dipped over the past month, but Warren's suffered more, dropping by a net 10 points. Brown's rating dropped by 3 points.
Brown may also have seem some benefit from a small up-ticket increase in support for Mitt Romney. Although President Barack Obama led Massachusetts in the poll by a commanding 14 percent, that's down from 27 percent in the Globe's September poll.
The four other polls released in the past two weeks all showed Warren ahead, including an Oct. 25 Rasmussen poll that gave her a five point lead, and the race has been increasingly viewed as leaning Democratic. HuffPost Pollster's model, which combines all available polling, puts Warren ahead by a margin of slightly over three points.
The two candidates are scheduled to meet for a final debate Tuesday, but have had to cancel all of Monday's events due to the hurricane.
The Globe/UNH poll surveyed 583 likely voters by phone between Oct. 23 and Oct. 27, with a 4.1 percent margin of error.
