Elvis Presley Concert Footage Offers A New Look At The King (VIDEO)

WATCH: Newly Unearthed Footage Of Elvis At MSG

Recently unearthed footage from Elvis Presley's sold-out concerts at Madison Square Garden has made its way online, showcasing a King in fine form. Presley performed for 80,000 people over four nights in June of 1972 -- his first shows in the Big Apple.

The clips are part of a new box set of the singer's music. "Prince From Another Planet: 40th Anniversary Edition" includes two CDs of audio from the shows, but also a DVD which includes fan footage filmed on a Super 8 camera. A selection of that video is available for viewing above.

It's nice to see the King doing his thing, particularly because his legacy recently suffered a blow in the form of Lil Wayne. The ambitious rapper passed Presley's previous record for the number of appearances by a male on the Billboard charts.
