Celebrate Elvis Presley's Birthday By Taking A Look Inside Graceland (PHOTOS)

A look inside Graceland to celebrate The King’s birthday.

Happy Birthday to The King Of Rock ’n’ Roll!

Today is Elvis Presley’s birthday and to celebrate we’re taking a look inside his beloved home, Graceland. Located in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, Graceland was purchased by Presley in 1957. The nearly 14-acre home was occupied by The King until his death on August 16, 1977.

Graceland has eight bedrooms and bathrooms, not to mention the famous Jungle Room that has an indoor waterfall and was eventually turned into a recording studio. We’re also particularly fond of the carpeted ceiling found in the game room. But of course, words could never really describe the awesomeness that is Graceland, so take a click through our slideshow to see photos that were taken by our very own editors. Join us in wishing Elvis Presley (what would have been) a very happy 78th birthday.
