Emilia Clarke Emmy Dress 2013 Is The Palest Shade Of Blue We've Ever Seen (PHOTOS)

For her first Emmy nomination, "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke wore a custom chalk blue Donna Karan Atelier dress to the awards ceremony. (Not exactly what we had in mind for the mother of dragons.)

Underneath the bright Los Angeles sun, the silk gown appeared white but once she sauntered onto the Emmys stage we were better able to see the pale blue hue against her dark hair and metallic silver belt. The folded geometric leaves added an ethereal touch to Clarke's delicate dress, making it stand out in the sea of blue dresses donned by Zooey Deschanel, Allison Williams and Tina Fey (just to name a few).
