On her new Style Network show "Empire Girls" (Sundays, 9/8c), singer Adrienne Bailon is putting her dating life out there for all the world to see. But the former Cheeta Girl says it isn't always easy having the intimate details of her love life be public.
"It hands down is not easy," the singer turned reality star tells The Huffington Post exclusively. "But that's the risk you take doing reality television—you choose to put yourself out there, you choose to be vulnerable on television, and to let a lot of people see into your life," says Bailon, adding, "{But} there are going to be a lot of people who can relate."
Of course, this isn't the first time the 28-year-old singer is broadcasting her love life on a reality show. When she dated Rob Kardashian (Kim Kardashian's little brother) in 2010, Adrienne appeared in several episodes of E!'s hit reality show, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." "When people fall in love with you as a couple on television," Adrienne says, "they only see a certain part of it. When they stop me in the street and say, 'please get back together and give him another chance,' I'm just like 'what?' It's weird."
Still, when we asked Adrienne last week if there's any chance Rob will show up on her new reality show, "Empire Girls," the singer said, "You gotta tune in," adding, "There are plenty of surprises on the show."
