'Empire' Star Bryshere Gray Transforms Into Taylor Swift On 'Lip Sync Battle'

We’d never, ever, ever think actor Bryshere Gray would sing along to a Taylor Swift song while dressed like Taylor Swift ... but we thought wrong.

In Thursday night’s episode for Spike’s show “Lip Sync Battle,” the “Empire” star sang along to Swift’s hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” while decked out in a blond wig and red lipstick.

The 23-year-old actor appeared on the show, which is hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen, and competed alongside Rumer Willis. It was clear that Gray, who ripped off his cherry-patterned onesie midway through his performance to reveal a red two-piece skirt set, didn’t come to lose.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Gray said he chose Swift’s song because it was “so impactful to the world and the song is so big for the culture.”

“It went so viral with her doing it that I felt that it would reach the fans that I want to reach!” he added.

And now that it’s over, he only has one wish: “I hope she retweets it! If she could retweet it, then it would go everywhere!”
