Engagement Photos: Redditor Shares Friend's Hilarious Pre-Wedding Snapshot (PHOTO)

Engagement photos have a reputation for being stuffy, posed and cheesy. But soon-to-be-married couple Howard Jiang and Dawn Yang set out to challenge that notion.

On Wednesday, Reddit user Kyle Stoldt posted his friends' engagement photo, taken last weekend in Shanghai, in which the bride-to-be is seen picking her fiancé's nose -- how charming! Check out the hilarious photo below:

Stoldt told HuffPost Weddings of the couple: "Howard is a giant teddy bear. He is one of those few friends you can consider a brother. He has one of those contagious laughs that will bring an entire room to a smile. Dawn is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She walks around all day with a smile that brings happiness to everyone she meets."

He continued, "Both of them have a child-like nature, constantly giggling, making them the best couple to be around."

Jiang and Yang are set to tie the knot next spring in Sonoma, Calif.
