The Sweetest Halloween Art You'll See All Year

candyart

It must take incredible patience to have that many sweets without eating them all.

Artist and blogger for Detroit Free Press, Eric Millikin, has gotten into the Halloween spirit by creating amazing portraits of characters including Frankenstein's monster, Elvira, Freddy Krueger and more. Even better, the portraits are made entirely of unwrapped candy.

More from Detroit Free Press:

Wow, for some reason I've really had the munchies lately, so of course I've been eating a lot of Halloween candy.

Besides getting an amazing sugar rush, what I've been doing with my Halloween candy is making a series of portraits of monsters, because I guess I never listened to the people who told me to stop playing with my food.

I hope you agree with me when I say these candy monster portraits are totally sweet.

Each photo contains a hidden spider in the portraits that Millikin encourages viewers to seek out. The artist also encourages people to request their own sweet portraits of their favorite monsters by contacting him on his Facebook or Twitter.
