Erin Andrews will be co-hosting ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," replacing Brooke Burke-Charvet.

"Very excited! I have HUGE shoes to fill," Andrews wrote on Twitter on Monday.

Andrews competed for the Mirror Ball Trophy with Maksim Chmerkovskiy in 2010 and finished in third place. But in her second go-round with the show, which begins its 18th season on March 17, she'll be a fixture alongside longtime host Tom Bergeron.

Andrews already works as a reporter for Fox Sports (after a much ballyhooed transition from ESPN) and said she plans to remain in the position.

(During football seasons, Strahan, the New York Giants Hall of Famer, juggles his regular job as co-host of the morning show "Live With Kelly and Michael" with a broadcasting assignment on "Fox NFL Sunday.")

As Reuters pointed out, Andrews' hiring follows sinking ratings on DWTS. In November, viewership for the season finale fell to its lowest in the history of the celebrity ballroom competition.

We have one suggestion for a ratings boost: How about inviting the Seattle Seahawks' Richard Sherman to dance? If a post-routine interview with Andrews can top the player's rant after the NFC Championship game, it could be a Nielsen bonanza.
