WATCH: 'Californication' Star Talks Sex And Horniness In The Hospital

Actor Evan Handler came by HuffPost Live on Tuesday to talk about his books, the upcoming season of "Californication" and his new lease on life after struggling with leukemia.

Judging from his roles on "Californication" and "Sex And The City," it's no surprise that Handler was happy to talk with HuffPost Live host Abby Huntsman about ladies. However, the specifics were a bit unique. In the hospital, Handler said, "there were no conjugal arrangements to be made." Instead, he and his girlfriend would rig up some signs and head to the bathroom, "because what I found was that actually the sicker I got, the hornier I got."

Referring to his book "Time On Fire," Handler said, "you're getting not your typical cancer memoir."

Handler also discussed the reaction of his former "Sex And The City" cast members to his new role on "Californication" and talked with community members about their experiences with cancer.
