Lozada admits that she was previously a fur-wearer, but after seeing videos of the suffering animals undergo in the name of fashion, she vowed against it. "I'm an animal lover," she told PETA. "I was definitely one of those people who wore fur years ago. I was looking online and I [saw] how these animals are tortured and skinned, and you don't really realize the hurt and the pain they go through just for fashion. I want to be a voice for them."

The reality star, who has a daughter, also thinks parents need to teach their children about animal rights. "I think that parents should show what's done to these animals. People who do wear fur, I would like for them to do the research for themselves."

Adding, "Hopefully, if I could change someone's mind by not wearing fur, then I've saved an animal."

Lozada's PETA ad was unveiled in Los Angeles on Tuesday, RumorFix reports. PETA hopes Lozada's ad shows the world that a woman “does not need to wear fur to be glamorous or beautiful."

Lozada joins a long line of celebrities who would "Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur," including, Eva Mendes, Khloe Kardashian, Christy Turlington, Wendy Williams, Joanna Krupa and Holly Madison.
