Exclusive Promo Hints Stephen Colbert Will Unleash On Trump In Live Election Show

Stephen Colbert’s live election show is going to be yuuuugggee.

The “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” host is headed to Showtime Nov. 8 for “Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going To Clean Up This S**t?” and one candidate in particular should be nervous.

Colbert’s criticism of Donald Trump has been relatively tame on CBS, but as Colbert says in the exclusive promo above, on Showtime it’s “no holds barred.”

“I get to do my show on Election Night, and I get to say f**k,” he says.

Airing live from The Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, the one-hour show promises to feature “remote segments and several surprise guests,” which may include anyone from Barack Obama to Amelia Earhart. And, yes, there will be plenty of swearing.

“Don’t we all just wanna scream foul language when we look at this election?” says Colbert.

You’re damn right, dude.
