TLC audiences are in for quite the shock this week.
On the return of "Extreme Cougar Wives," (Wed., Aug. 14 at 9:30 p.m. ET) fans will meet -- or get reintroduced to -- Jeraldine Saunders, the now-89-year-old creator of "The Love Boat." For the past 11 years, she's been with 46-year-old Donaldo Monroy, a former Mr. California.
In HuffPost TV's "Extreme Cougar Wives" exclusive (above), Jeraldine and Donaldo explain how they met at a luncheon and how things heated up between them. Donaldo was 19 years old at the time, and although he was "hooked," the two didn't go on their first date until 15 years later. During their date, Jeraldine fittingly invited Donaldo on a week-long cruise, which he called "heavenly," and the night they returned, he stayed over. "He hasn't left since," Jeraldine says with a laugh, noting that Donaldo's body is "as beautiful as DaVinci's David."
And Donaldo is a fan of Jeraldine's body as well. "Red heads are like, the best in bed," he brags. "It's like freakin' unbelievable. One time, we started making love, when we first met, from 12 noon to 12 midnight without a stop."
"Extreme Cougar Wives" premieres Wednesday, August 14 at 9:30 p.m. ET on TLC.
