
Facebook has found a new way to make use of your network of friends -- as an anti-hacker protection system.
The social-networking giant introduced a feature Wednesday that asks you to name friends in photos as a way of authenticating yourself. Called "social authentication," the tool is intended to improve on traditional "captchas" -- those squiggly letters that you often have to identify to get into a secure site.
