If you haven't gathered by now, 90% of fashion shows focus on skin. As a former Wilhelmina model and New York Fashion Week model, I know this all too well. While the above percentage doesn't necessarily make for riveting backstage reporting, it does have a very true, real-girl application: Women love beauty and skincare! I'm here to give you a few of Fall's top buzzing beauty trends and picks from the runway. For my fall skincare tips click here:

For every gal on the move, this multistick foundation is perfection. This ultra-versatile product has a practically weightless, cream-to-powder texture that blends beautifully into lids, lips, and cheeks. With their wide range of colors, pack a tube or two in your purse for touch-ups on the go. Because it's so easy to use — and difficult to mess up — no brushes or mirrors are required. You can even use some of the shades for contouring/highlighting! ( $24 bitebeauty.com)

Backstage artists focused on perfecting the canvas by creating fresh, dewy complexions with minimal coverage. Healthy fresh skin has been trending for years, but for this season it has taken on an almost hyper-real radiance. Create this look using MAC Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation, MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Naturally Enhanced and MAC Pro Sculpting Creams in Crevasse and Climax.

No surprise here! Deep, dark, dramatic hues are undeniably the biggest trend for lips this season. The most striking colors this season are the plum and dark cherry pouts, which you can create with Dior's Rouge Dior in Poison. Add your favorite gloss for a more youthful look.

This deep burnt brown shade is shockingly flattering on a range of skin tones. (MAC It's a Strike Lipstick in ‘Bowl Me Over’ $17)

Unlike contouring, which has been slowly but surely disappearing from the radar, highlighting has consistently been a fantastic route for emphasizing the points of your face where the light hits. All you need is a touch on your Cupid's bow, cheekbones and brow arches to give your skin a natural, glowy finish.

Best Highlighter: YSL Touché Éclat Radiant Touch ($42, Sephora.com)

Full brows are still trending, but rather than being heavily filled in or darkened, fall 2016's brows are delicately brushed up and lightly colored with brow pomade.

Best Pomade: Anastasia Brow Pomade: ($18, Sephora.com)
