Fall Foliage Run, Walk & Bike - Sept. 13, 2015
Regardless of which race you choose -- the half-marathon or 5k run (3.1 miles), 5k walk or 12-mile bike race -- you'll get the same breathtaking vision of Brownington, Vermont, in all its autumn splendor. Each race begins at the Old Stone House Museum before winding through the back roads of the Vermont's so-called Northeast Kingdom. After the race, head back to the Old Stone House for awards, snacks and that quintessential fall drink: pressed apple cider.

Falling Leaves Road Race - Sept. 27, 2015
Watch the brilliant golds, oranges and reds whiz by as you speed through the flat streets of downtown Utica, New York, for a 5k. Or, if you prefer the scenic route, opt for the 14k (8.7 miles), which meanders through the hills of Utica's South Woods. There's also a kids' fun run.

Run the Valley Fall Foliage Race - Oct. 10, 2015
Savor the colors of fall with a brisk run through Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. Enjoy the scenery of historical neighborhoods set against a backdrop of vibrant leaves during the 5k or 10k run, or the 5k walk; there's also a kids' fun run. Afterward, stick around for a cup of warm apple cider at the finish line and savor the colors of the Virginia Fall Foliage Festival Art Show, which is held in conjunction with the race.
