Family Rewrites DMX Song For Epic Back-To-School Video

Back-to-school season is upon us, bringing school supply lists, new clothes and of course, a new parody music video from the Holderness family.

Penn and Kim Holderness rewrote “Party Up (Up In Here)” by DMX to celebrate the end of summer, aka the season when kids are wreaking havoc at home, complaining of boredom and making their parents carry all their stuff to the community pool every day.

“Three months together is a beautiful thing but yeah ... time for the bell to ring,” Penn sings. And as the chorus sums up perfectly, “Y’all need to go back to school, up in here, up in here.”
