Better Call Fargo? The FX "Fargo" remake has added "Breaking Bad" star Bob Odenkirk to its cast, along with "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star Glenn Howerton and "The Big C" actor Oliver Platt, according to a press release from the network.

The casting announcement comes on the heels of yesterday's news that former "Private Practice" star Kate Walsh will also be joining the "Fargo" cast. Walsh will be playing Gina Hess, "a former stripper and mother of teenaged twin boys."

The star-studded North Dakota "true crime" miniseries also stars Billy Bob Thorton as Lorne Malvo, "a rootless, manipulative man who meets a small town insurance salesman and sets him on a path of destruction." Martin Freeman ("Sherlock") and Colin Hanks ("Dexter") round out the cast.

Odenkirk is also slated to continue playing Walter White's corrupt lawyer Saul Goodman in AMC's "Breaking Bad" spinoff/prequel "Better Call Saul." In "Fargo," Odenkirk will play Deputy Bill Olson, "a Bemidji deputy with seniority over his younger, smarter and more ambitious fellow deputy," who will be played by Allison Tolman.

Platt will play Stavros Milos, "the Supermarket King of Minnesota," while Howerton's character will be Don Chumph, "an ambitious personal trainer."

Production on the 10-episode "Fargo" limited series is scheduled to begin in November in Calgary, Canada. It will premiere in the spring of 2014 on FX.
