'FarmVille' TV Show: Brett Ratner Producing Animated Series

A 'FarmVille' TV Show Is Happening

Look out Hollywood: Brett Ratner is working on a FarmVille TV show. Deadline.com reports that the "Rush Hour" director is teaming up with Six Eleven Media to produce an animated show based on the addictive Zynga social media game.

“FarmVille is one of the most exciting brands out there today and its cross-platform opportunities are endless. I am thrilled to be expanding the brand with existing fans and also engaging a whole new audience,” Ratner said in a statement.

No network is currently attached to the project.

Rattner was enlisted as the producer of the 2012 Oscars, but resigned in shame after using a gay slur on Twitter. This project should prove decidedly less controversial.
