Farrah Abraham Is Adopting A Child: 'This Feels So Right'

The "Teen Mom" star already has one daughter, Sophia.

"Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham has opened up to Us Weekly about adopting a child.

"I'm happy to confirm I'm moving forward in my adoption process. This means I will be making some changes in my career to welcome a new addition to my family," said Abraham to Us. "Very excited, and this feels so right. I'm very blessed for this opportunity."

Abraham, a reality TV star and erotic novelist, expressed her desire to adopt a child in November via Instagram.

"With over 145 million orphans in the world, I’m so excited to make a difference by adopting in the future," wrote Abraham.

The 24-year-old already has one daughter, Sophia, from a previous relationship with the late Derek Underwood. She came under fire earlier this year for giving the 6-year-old $600 for losing her two front teeth. In a picture posted on Twitter, Abraham showed Sophia smiling next to a stack of $100 and some new trinkets.
