This 'Fart Symphony' Is The Sound Of Brotherly Love

Man's Love For Brother Inspires 'Fart Symphony'

Some people might think his music stinks, but for something the composer "pulled out of [his] arse," this "fart symphony" is downright beautiful.

After his brother moved away, Reddit user "lozzobear" -- also known as Loz or Laurence -- said he started sending his sibling sounds of his own flatulence to show him he cared. But little did he realize that he'd soon catch a whiff of inspiration.

"My brother moved away from town, and I was missing him. So I started texting him farts to let him know I love him. This would have been in the first dozen or so, but the second it came out I knew it was special," he wrote.

According to the New York Daily News:

By slowing the seven-tone noise of his gas down, Laurence deciphered it to be a major seventh arpeggio in B flat with an incidental at the end.

He combined the fantastical fart with a fluttery flute, and uploaded it to YouTube on Sunday. It's been played more than 1.4 million times as of the time of this writing.

"It is my Magnum Anus. My rectum opus. I fear my best work is behind me," Loz wrote.

Loz makes music as part of Melbourne, Australia's Shonky Brothers. You can listen to their album, "Songs in the Key of Penis," right here.
