Four Bloggers to Watch This Fashion Season

If you're like me, whose favorite season is fashion, then you probably lose yourself during these months in endless show streams, recaps, interviews and trend talk. To help manage it all, here are four of my favorite globetrotting bloggers to give you an inside scoop.

One of the most glorious weeks of the year -- New York Fashion Week -- is upon us, and, depending on when you read this, almost over. But fear not. London, Milan and Paris are coming, as are other shows in other hotspots around the world. And if you're like me, whose favorite season is fashion, then you probably lose yourself during these months in endless show streams, recaps, interviews with designers, pre-show predictions and trend talk. To help manage it all, here are four of my favorite globetrotting bloggers to give you an inside scoop -- and to help you weather the season.

Peony Lim

The London-based Lim is famous for many things: being a blogger, model and stylist. She's also got great hair,a signature red lip, and has recently collaborated with Michael Kors for London's FNO. What I like best about Lim is her incorporation of vintage pieces with modern looks, the result of which is a unique aesthetic. Her blog celebrates her eye -- and love -- for fashion, art, food and interiors, and often pairs her writing with photos by photographer boyfriend Pete Navey.

Hanneli Mustaparta

A former full-time model, Norwegian Mustaparta does it all -- and still finds time to readily be featured in magazine editorials, and to be a contributing photographer for Vogue. Blog-wise, not only does Mustaparta allow herself to be photographed, she also seeks other on-street chic and features them on her blog, too. A veteran of the industry, she has a classic, refined style -- my personal favorite -- but features, celebrates and discusses all style types on her website.

Chiara Ferragni

This Italian is probably best known by her web's moniker, The Blonde Salad. Though it's not the most aesthetically pleasing site, it's readily updated, easy to use and something I always find myself unable to stop clicking through. Ferragni is currently a law student at Bocconi University, but finds time to collaborate with Ermenegildo Zegna, Chanel, MaxMara, Louis Vuitton and Bulgari. Like Lim, Ferragni loves mixing the old with the new, and her accessories are some of my favorite. She adds daily photos of her Fashion Week looks, her impressions of shows and short videos recapping her day.

Coco Rosa

Not to be confused with Canadian model Coco Rocha, Rosa works as a freelance fashion designer and trend forecaster who shuttles back and forth between New York City and her native Holland. Her style is perhaps the most whimsical of the four, and she is not afraid of glitter, tutus and bows. Though Rosa is often captured by photographers while at shows, she also makes it a point to shoot what everyone else is wearing -- "What happens outside the shows is always as inspiring as what happens inside the shows," she says.
