Fashion Week Look Of The Day: J.Crew's New Collection Already Belongs In Our Closets...

We Can Already Picture This Fashion Week Collection In Our Closets...

Every time Fashion Week rolls around, we fashion editors flock to shows and gawk at the things we see on the runways. And while some people would totally wear sequined hot pants out on the street, many looks we see are not wearable in the least (we're looking at you, Rodarte).

But every season, there are also certain designers who manage to create pieces that provide inspiration and translate to everyday wear -- today, J.Crew's Spring/Summer 2014 collection did just that.

The bright colors, unusual patterns and killer shoes (thanks to J.Crew's collaboration with Brit footwear designer Sophia Webster) were fresh and cool. But what we loved most about the collection was that we could see many of the garments fitting into our current wardrobes.

Our favorite look came in the form of green paint-splattered jeans (the new ripped jeans), and a boxy white T-shirt. The outfit is so relaxed and easy, but there are subtle touches, like the varsity stripe on the top and the oversized cuff on the pants, that make the ensemble just fashion-forward enough. Jenna Lyons does it again.
