On night when Tom Brady engineered one of the greatest comebacks in Super Bowl history, an enduring Hollywood franchise attempted to show that it’s still a player.
A trailer for “Fast and The Furious” No. 8 premiered during the big game, promising lots of explosions, fights, cars and even some acting cred from Academy Award winner Charlize Theron.
In “The Fate of the Furious,” Theron plays a femme fatale who seduces Vin Diesel into crime, setting up a tale of betrayal and, well, more car mayhem.
That’s one way to break the ice.
“The Fate of the Furious” is scheduled to open on April 14.
