Felicity Jones In 'The Invisible Woman': Cast In Ralph Fiennes Adaptation

Catapulted to fame by a little movie with a largely improvised script, Felicity Jones is now set to work with one of Hollywood's biggest stars, from a script about one of the English language's greatest wordsmiths.

Felicity Jones, who won Best Actress at Sundance and Breakthrough Actor at the Gotham Awards for her turn in the indie romance "Like Crazy," has joined the cast of "The Invisible Woman," the Daily Mail reports. The film, to be directed by Ralph Fiennes, is about Charles Dickens' affair with Nelly Ternan. Fiennes will also play the famed author, who was 45 when he met Ternan, who was then 18.

Jones stole hearts in "Like Crazy," in which she co-starred with Anton Yelchin as a young couple kept apart by an ocean and visa issues. But she has experience with more period work, too, with a starring role in 2010's "The Tempest" and featuring in a co-starring part in the upcoming comedy "Hysteria," which is about the invention of the vibrator.

Doremus and Jones will also team up in another project, as-yet untitled, which is scheduled to be released next year.
