These Photos Prove Just How Chaotic The Situation In Ferguson Has Become

Chaos erupted Wednesday evening in Ferguson, Mo., the St. Louis suburb where unarmed black teenager Michael Brown was shot and killed by a police officer last week.

Protesters gathered for the fifth straight day in the streets of Ferguson to protest Brown's death, clashing with heavily-armed police outfitted in riot gear. The protests took an ugly turn later Wednesday evening as police deployed tear gas and smoke bombs to disperse the crowds. Meanwhile, according to the Associated Press, some protesters threw Molotov cocktails at cops.

Here are some photos that illustrate just how intense the situation in Ferguson has become.
