Today is the day for everyone who finds tinsel distracting -- a Festivus for the rest of us. So get the aluminum pole out of the garage, gather your loved ones to air your grievances, and mentally prepare for the feats of strength.
It's hard to say how long Seinfeld writers thought the holiday would resonate when it first aired in an episode called "The Strike." What's important is that -- 18 years later -- the holiday a still burning bright. A true Festivus miracle.
So thank you, loyal reader, for another special Festivus. A generous donation has been made in your name to The Human Fund. No bagel, no bagel, no bagel, no bagel.
