"Fifty Shades Of Grey" producers may have found their leading man, but the challenges of bringing E L James' novel to the big screen don't end there. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Charlie Hunnan's departure from the role has forced production to be delayed until Dec. 2. The movie was initially set to start filming in early November.

As THR notes, the delay could force "50 Shades of Grey" to miss its schedule Aug. 1, 2014 release date, but as yet nothing has been decided.

What is known is this: Dakota Johnson stars as Anastasia Steele in the film alongside Jamie Dornan, who was selected to play Christian Grey last week. Also in the cast are "True Blood" star Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey, Christian Grey's brother, and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia's mom. Sam Taylor-Johnson is set to direct.

The idea that "50 Shades of Grey" would delay its start date is far from surprising. As THR reported on Oct. 14, Patrick Marber ("Notes on a Scandal") was hired to polish the film's script, which was originally written by Kelly Marcel.
