Final 'Zero Dark Thirty' Trailer: Remember 'The Social Network' Trailer? It's Like That (VIDEO)

WATCH: 'Zero Dark Thirty' Gets New Trailer

Remember how incredible the first trailer for "The Social Network" was? How it used the Scala & Kolacny Brothers choral cover of Radiohead's "Creep" to expert effectiveness? Sony sure does! That's why the studio reenlisted Scala & Kolacny Brothers for the final "Zero Dark Thirty" trailer.

The last teaser for Kathryn Bigelow's critical favorite might be the best one yet, in no small part because of the cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" that eerily looms over the last half of the above clip. Not only is the song an appropriate match for the film's tone, but also its theme: For CIA analyst Maya (Jessica Chastain) nothing else matters besides catching Osama bin Laden. "Zero Dark Thirty" tells Maya's story in riveting fashion. (It's why HuffPost Entertainment named "Zero Dark Thirty" the best movie of 2012.)

Thanks to the music cue, the final "Zero Dark Thirty" trailer does a great job connecting "Zero Dark Thirty" with "The Social Network." Of course, Sony probably hopes the comparisons end there: David Fincher's masterpiece came up just short at the Academy Awards thanks to "The King's Speech."

Watch the last "Zero Dark Thirty" trailer above. The film is out in limited release on Dec. 19 and nationwide on Jan. 11, 2013. Listen to the Scala & Kolacny Brothers cover of "Nothing Else Matters" below.
