Fiona Apple Album Title Is Revealed. It's 23 Words.

Fiona Apple Reveals 23-Word-Long Album Title

Our favorite comeback of 2012, Fiona Apple, has trickled out 23 more words to get us pumped about said comeback -- the title of her new album, which goes like this:

The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do.

At 23 words, it's 67 words shorter than her second album's title, and 21 words longer than her last album, 2005's Extraordinary Machine (we can do math!). We're looking forward to futilely trying to decode this one once we have the proper clues (songs).

The Idler Wheel is slated for a June release on Epic Records, Pitchfork reports. Until then, you can catch Apple on her seven-day tour starting next Thursday at SXSW in Austin, and then moving on to Chicago, D.C., Brooklyn, Atlantic City, New York and Boston.

We're catching Apple at SXSW and will keep you abreast of any new songs, news, or words that come out of her mouth.

And now, watch Fiona Apple and Zach Galifianakis in bed together:
