This Calendar Features Firefighters And Rescue Pups, So The World Isn't So Bad

🔥🔥🔥

Is it hot in here? Or is it just these smokin' firefighters who are working their angles for charity.

Some photos shared on Facebook give us a sneak peek into the photo shoots for the 2017 Firefighters Calendar from Australia, which features various hunky firefighters posing with rescue puppies.

And that's not even the best part.

The proceeds from this year's calendar will go toward Children’s Hospital Foundation, and the Westmead Children’s Hospital Burns unit. The sales will also help animal care and protection charity RSPCA, (hence the puppies), and Mates 4 Mates, a group that supports wounded, injured and ill veterans and members of the Australian Defence Force, according to the calendar's Instagram page.

The calendar's Facebook page mentions that the project is currently in its second week of shooting. Thus far, the photos shared on the social media site show the men with axes, hoses and in front of fires. Our favorites, of course, feature some cuddle time with adorable puppies, which were supplied by Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc, and, according to BuzzFeed, are up for adoption.

While the calendar definitely does its part in giving people a big dose of eye candy, it's also raked a great deal of funds for good causes. Since its launch in 1993, it has raised more than $1.3 million for charity, according to the calendar's site.

Now, we'll just patiently (or not so patiently) wait for that calendar to be released.
