'The Five' Hosts Lash Out At Jon Stewart's Attacks (VIDEO)

WATCH: Fox News Hosts Attack Jon Stewart

The hosts of "The Five" lashed out at Jon Stewart on Friday for his criticism of their comments about Muslims.

In the wake of the Boston bombings, Fox News has seen relentless talk about the danger posed by Muslims.

Stewart lampooned Eric Bolling's seemingly random contention that there are hundreds of thousands of American Muslims who want to kill other Americans. He also took on Beckel's widely criticized call to restrict Muslim students from entering the country.

In response, Bolling held up an article from the Union Leader newspaper, in which he said a professor agreed with his theory. The professor Bolling mentioned cited no sources or studies in the article. Instead, she made a similarly sweeping assertion:

"When we talk about radicalized Islamic ideologies, it's a very small population within Islam," she said. "Only about 10 percent of Muslims are fundamentalists, and only 1 percent of that 10 percent have a radical understanding of Islam."

"Hey Jonny boy, pull up a chair right here between Bob and me and let's debate this thing," Bolling said. "You got the cojones?"

Beckel then responded to Stewart's amazement that a self-professed liberal would be calling for such anti-Muslim measures.

"I was a liberal activist and a progressive before you were out of your Pampers," Beckel said. "You may get on a TV show and talk liberal politics. I've been on the lines registering voters, being on union lines, and others. Maybe you want to bring your credentials up here."
