As a girl who despises heels, I couldn't have been happier to notice the latest trend on the Spring 2014 runways: Flat shoes. Yes, heels are now passé (okay, maybe not passé, but a girl can dream), and flats are here to stay.
Though we first started to notice a pattern when Helmut Lang sent shower shoes down the runway, as Fashion Week continues, more and more models have been seen sporting Birkenstock-esque shoes and pointy-toe flats.
