'Flip Men' Find A Basement Surprise In Utah: They've Purchased A 'Polygamist House' (VIDEO)

'Flip Men' Pick Up A 'Polygamist House' In Utah

After laying down $200,000 for a nice looking home in Utah on "Flip Men" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on Spike), the guys were loving their walk through. The house looked to be in fantastic shape. There was going to be very little renovations necessary. That is, until they went into the basement.

It just kept going and going, and they found bedroom after bedroom after bedroom. They counted eleven bedrooms total, and came to the conclusion that they must have purchased a "polygamist house."

They estimated that the man who lived there probably had six or seven wives and up to 20 kids. But there was no way they could keep eleven bedrooms in a house that was only 3,200 square feet. So they eliminated six of them during their renovations.

All in all, the work cost them only $27,000. The house sold for $284,000, so they made a nice profit of $57,000 on the memorable project.

Check out new renovations every week on "Flip Men," Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on Spike.
